Refund & Exchange Policy

As I provide clear and accurate images of my pieces along with material descriptions and dimensions, once a piece is purchased, Alchemy Jewelry Designs sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds. 

Please note that earrings are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Any item purchased on sale, gift cards, sale items, resized items, samples and “Not Quite Right” sale items are not eligible for returns exchanges or store credit.

We will consider exchanges on your one-of-a-kind jewelry on a case by case basis, please get in touch with us within 5 days of receiving your order. Please note that all jewelry and gift card purchases are non-refundable. Also, please note that any customs fees, shipping fees, or taxes including those associated with exchanged items, are the responsibility of the customer. So please take the time you need to choose something that you think will work best for you.

Although I don’t allow refunds, returns, or cancellations, if you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, please contact me and I will do all that I can to make things right.  You are the reason that I am able to be here and I truly value your support.

In regards to rings, the size that will be made is the size that you request. Some tips for choosing your sizing accurately would be to buy a cheap ring sizer on Amazon ($1-$2) and double check your size before ordering. It's best not to size your fingers when you are too hot or too cold as this will affect the size of your fingers.

If an item is damaged as a result of quality or got damaged during shipping (which can happen on the long treks across the pond), customers must e-mail their concern within 14 days of receiving items for an exchange. Items mailed back for exchange must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging with tracking and insurance. Alchemy Jewelry Designs reserves the right to refuse any exchange where the product returned is not in its original condition. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Shipping Policy

I always do my best to ship ready made items within 3 business days, but please be sure to let me know if you need a piece by a certain date.  I can’t guarantee the shipping time once your package has left my care, but will do my best to take it to the post office ASAP.

Made-to-order and custom purchases are usually completed within 4-6 weeks of your finalized design as these pieces are designed by hand, cast in you metal of choice and then stones are set and the jewelry is polished before shipping.   As I will never compromise quality to meet an order deadline, I will contact you if I estimate the time to be a little bit longer.

Be sure to keep in mind that some countries will charge an additional tax as your package comes through customs. I am not responsible for any extra charges on international orders. The customs process may also delay the delivery. 

All orders are shipped ready for gift giving, either in a velvet ring box, sturdy mailing box and a heavy duty eco friendly mailing envelope.  

The following are estimated shipping times:

  • Shipping within the USA: 2-8 business days
  • Shipping to Canada: 7-21 business days
  • International shipping: 7-21 business days

Shipping times are not guaranteed and at a busy time like Christmas, I recommend planning ahead so that your beautifully unique hand crafted items will arrive in plenty of time.

Insured orders will receive a full refund if the order is lost in transit.  It is recommended to fully insure your order as I cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.  Once your item leaves my hands, it is the responsibility of USPS.
